Eaton Township Clerk
All registered voters in MI will be getting an absentee ballot application for the August 4th 2020 Election.
You should probably receive it around the end of June. If you didn’t get one you can get one at michigan.gov/vote or contact the Clerk to have one sent to you.
Election workers are democracy’s Most Valuable Players.
Every Election Day, thousands of Michigan citizens come together to assist voters and process ballots.
While the challenges we face with the COVID-19 pandemic have been trying, election workers will be able to adhere to health guidelines and best practices to keep all staff and voters safe.
Any registered voter could work an election. Get an application online and return by email, fax, or mail/dropbox to the Eaton Township Clerk.
If you’re not yet registered to vote but would like to get involved, you can register to vote online (at Michigan.gov/VoterRegistration) and then sign up to serve as an election worker. You will be paid for your time on Election Day, and you will be a crucial part of the team helping to protect Michigan’s elections.
Election workers must be trained by the County Clerk at least once every two years in order to remain eligible. Next expected training: June or July 2020 likely by online/virtual classroom.
